As a local authority we now aim to take guidance from the regional work to inform our local decisions and adaptation actions, knowing that this is a concerted effort which will make a contribution to a wider strategic regional vision and objectives. The city council will have to align it's adaptation actions and strategy to the wider city region's strategy, starting with identifying options to address relevant local/ regional risks.
