El segundo, se encuentra relacionado con una eventual falta de provisión de alimentos o déficit en el suministro de agua y energía, ante posibles inundaciones o sequías en las regiones que proveen a todo el Valle de Aburrá (especialmente Oriente, Norte y Suroeste de Antioquia). 4. Los cambios en el régimen del clima, pueden disminuir drásticamente la oferta natural de la ciudad, dentro de la cual se encuentra la flora y la fauna.
