These can be volume of fuel (measured in liters), weight of fuel (measured in kilogram units), amount of electricity usage (measured in kilowatt-hour) or distances travelled (measured in kilometers), etc. Emission Factor (EF) is the average emission rate of a given GHG for a given source, relative to units of activity. These are always expressed as ratios.Global Warming Potential (GWP) is the comparisons of the global warming impacts of different gases. This dataset contains data on total city-wide emissions as reported by cities in 2021. To view all responses by cities to questions on emissions in 2021, including breakdowns by sector and scope, go to https://data.cdp.net/Governance/2021-Cities-Emissions-and-Mitigation/aic4-a5fb. The questions covered are 4.6a to 4.6b.
