Iskandar Malaysia has also received regular invitations from local authorities such as Shah Alam and Sepang and regularly invited to speak at national and international events such as the International Forum for Sustainable Asia-Pacific, Japan, the Global RCE Conference, World Urban Forum, COP series, and the High Level seminar for Environmentally Sustainable Cities (under the ASEAN Environment Ministers Forum). Iskandar Malaysia also become a destination for low carbon events such as International Forum on Future City Initiatives in Malaysia and International Conference on Low Carbon Asia and Beyond.
