The Mayor has appointed 16 members of the community to the Climate Action and Resilience Plan (CARP) Working Group. Their task is to create a plan for the City. The group, made up of 16 voting members and a student representative from Evanston Township High School, will have until October 2018 to complete their plan and present it to Evanston's City Council.There are three primary ways to be engaged in the CARP Planning Process:(1) Submit Comments to CARP - CARP has created a webform that consists of 6 questions. CARP is looking for community feedback on how to best combat climate change and prepare for the impacts in Evanston.(2) Attend Meetings - See below for the schedule of open public meetings. Additionally, there will be specific feedback sessions with different organizations and open to the public throughout the process and some of those can be found on the City's calendar.(3) Become a Technical Adviser- Do you have a specific expertise you feel would be helpful to CARP as they develop their plan?
