Evaluar los impactos de las acciones concretas del proyecto mediante las mediciones del Sistema de Monitoreo Atmosférico de Jalisco (SIMAJ), con la finalidad de mejorar, adaptar y replicar el proyecto en el resto de los municipios del Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara. Localización del proyectoEl proyecto se encuentra localizado en la colonia del Cerro del Cuatro, dentro del Municipio de San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, México. El proyecto se ubica dentro del polígono de fragilidad ambiental POFA, y forma parte del inicio del eje volcánico del sur, y de la cuenca del ahogado. Importancia del proyectoEn los últimos años la frecuencia de las contingencias atmosféricas en el AMG ha ido en aumento, sin embargo, las soluciones al problema han sido principalmente reactivas, y en menor medida, preventivas. El proyecto es importante, porque busca fortalecer acciones preventivas a través de iniciativas de infraestructura verde, tales como, aumento de arbolado urbano para la remoción de contaminantes, mejorando la salud y calidad de vida de los habitantes. Se estima que la adopción de estas medidas, podrían evitar cerca de 300 muertes prematuras por exposición a contaminantes atmosféricos. Otros estudios se indican que, el aumento del arbolado urbano puede contribuir a la reducción de tasas de criminalidad y violencia, uno de los principales problemas del polígono del Cerro del Cuatro; incluso, este proyecto articula y fortalece otros tantos de infraestructura verde que el municipio de Tlaquepaque está implementando en la zona.Beneficios del proyectoEl proyecto abonara a mejorar la calidad del aire, agua y/o suelo; aumentar la disponibilidad y mejorar la distribución de áreas verdes urbanas; mejorar la salud humana y calidad de vida; aumentar la resiliencia frente al cambio climático y mantener un monitoreo ambiental. Impactos sociales Entre los impactos sociales positivos se encuentra la mejora de la calidad de vida y salud de la población, al ofrecer un mayor número de espacios de recreación, reducir el potencial de contingencias en el AMG y disminuir los índices de violencia y criminalidad. La población directamente beneficiada son los 664,193 habitantes de San Pedro Tlaquepaque, e indirectamente en números redondos, los 5,000,000 de habitantes del AMG.Por otra parte, en los impactos negativos, se identifica la posible necesidad de reubicación de líneas de transporte público y la modificación de ciertas dinámicas sociales, debido a cambios físicos en la zona. Dichos impactos dependerán de las acciones específicas emprendidas.Impactos ambientalesLos mayores impactos ambientales positivos del proyecto, se encontrarán en el aumento de Servicios Ecosistémicos; abonando con ello, la mejora significativa de la calidad del aire, protección de la biodiversidad, control de inundaciones mediante la infiltración del agua al suelo, reducción de efecto de isla de calor, y consecuentemente, la reducción potencial de contingencias en el AMG.El principal impacto ambiental negativo, se centra en la posibilidad de desplazamiento de emisiones debido a las medidas implementadas.Impactos económicos Algunos de los impactos económicos positivos al implementar el proyecto se reconoce: el incremento en la plusvalía de la zona y el ahorro de gasto público destinado a contingencias; el gasto público en materia de salud (considerando que con la implantación del proyecto se mejorará la salud de la población). | 24/06/2020 05:30:36 | |||
