Este informe consiste en el estudio de las tendencias observadas y proyectadas de la temperatura de superficie y de la precipitación y de algunos de sus índices extremos que pueden conducir a impactos relevantes, tales como sequías, heladas, duración de olas de calor, torrencialidad de lluvias, entre otros. La base de datos de dicho informe se encuentra disponible en la página web de la 3CNCC (http://ambiente.gob.ar/tercera-comunicacion-nacional/).La información de la 3CNCC se presenta dividiendo el territorio argentino en 4 regiones, considerando la continuidad geográfica y cierta homogeneidad en sus características climáticas más relevantes. Patagones se encuentra en la región Húmeda que agrupa las provincias de Misiones, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Santa Fe y Buenos Aires, y cuya característica común es no tener una pronunciada estación seca y no presentar condiciones reiteradas de estrés hídrico.
