TheNYC Retrofit Accelerator and Community Retrofit NYC programs currently assist decision-makers of over 4,000buildings in identifying energy and water saving retrofit opportunities and connecting to financial and technicalresources. The NYC Carbon Challenge voluntary leadership program is working with more than 100 companies andorganizations that have committed to 30, 40, or 50 percent reductions in GHG emissions.The City will work to expand these and launch a new program to support the real estate industry to implement lowenergy design for new construction and substantial renovations.
