Sendo assim, uma análise comparativa preliminar do atual inventário (2016) com o inventário anterior (2015), mostra que o padrão de consumo da cidade permanece praticamente inalterado. Contudo, de acordo com o Anuário Estatístico de Energia Elétrica 2017, em 2016 houve um aumento de 5,9% de geração hidroelétrica de energia em comparação ao ano de 2015, ao passo que a energia gerada a partir dos derivados de petróleo retraiu 52,8% na mesma comparação. Como consequência, as emissões de gases de efeito estufa a partir da geração de eletricidade em 2016 reduziram 28,1% em relação aos níveis de 2015. Com isso, o fator médio de emissão anual de CO2 decorrente da geração de energia elétrica caiu de 0,1244 em 2015 para 0,0814 em 2016. Desta forma, apesar do consumo de energia elétrica na cidade em 2016 ter sido apenas 0,87% menor do que o consumo de 2015, suas emissões de GEE registraram uma redução de 35% no setor.Dito isso, graças à manutenção do comportamento de consumo da cidade e à redução das emissões do setor elétrico, esperava-se uma redução significativa nas emissões de GEE da cidade para o ano de 2016. Contudo, a metodologia de cálculo de emissões provenientes do setor de resíduos, principalmente referente ao tratamento de águas residuais, foi alterada, gerando um aumento de 32,31% nas emissões de um ano para o outro.Sendo assim, o conjunto desses fatores explica a tímida redução de 0,33% das emissões totais de GEE para o ano de 2016, em comparação a 2015. | 24/06/2020 05:30:36 | ||
