Our Climate Action Plan addresses several strategies to reducing the emissions from transportation. The strategies we are committed to include increasing public transportation ridership to the 2006 levels, advocating for increased funding for public transit at the state level, pursue funding options for transit at the local level, increase job accessibility via public transit, make Cuyahoga County more walkable and bikeable (UH Bikeshare Program, Greenway Project), expand our bikeshare program, and by using more energy efficient vehicles for the County. Our County also has several other projects/initiatives that are not addressed in our Climate Action Plan.
