Per DPW the Susquehanna has been used nine times since 1965, twice since 1995. DPW's leading water staff member who has been doing this for over 30 years states "simply looking at the dam’s elevations over the past years is a good indicator in relation to the overflow elevations (Loch Raven-240 ft., Liberty-420 ft., Prettyboy-520 ft.). In addition, we always have the Susquehanna where we can draw up to 250 MGD unless a drought is declared, then it drops to 60 mgd.
