En cuanto a las amenzas climáticas actuales y a futuro, se evalua qué cambios han tenido lugar y cuáles son los cambios esperados para las próximas décadas. Para ello se consideró el informe sobre ’Los estudios de los cambios climáticos observados en el clima presente y proyectados a futuro en la República Argentina’ realizado por el Centro de Investigaciones del Mar y la Atmósfera (CIMA) para la ‘Tercera Comunicación de la República Argentina a la Convención Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre Cambio Climático’. Este informe estudia las tendencias observadas y proyectadas de la temperatura de superficie y de la precipitación y de algunos de sus índices extremos que pueden conducir a impactos relevantes, tales como sequías, heladas, duración de olas de calor, torrencialidad de lluvias, entre otros. En el caso de Inriville, el modelo que mejor se ajusta, y que fue considerado para evaluar los cambios relevantes y los impactos previstos en el área que ocupa la ciudad, es el promedio de los modelos CCSM4, CMCC-CM y NorESMI-M. Para esta Estrategia de Adaptación se consideraron los resultados de modelo para el futuro cercano (período 2015-2039).
