It is framed by the eastern hills and the Bogota´s River in the West. Its delimit by a flat area located to the North which include the Bogotá´s highlands and the mountainous area begins at the Highlands south zone and stretches to the District border, including the Sumapaz Region. Its temperature average in 2015 ranged from the 13.3°C to 15.8°C. Bogota became, in four years from 87.000 to 130.722 hectares in soil protection, which mean the 53% of the District territory between its different components. The District total area is 163.659 hectares: 122.271 are rural zone (76.6%) and 38.414 area urban zone (23, 4%). The city is divided territorially and administrative in 20 localities, 19 of them are urban and 1 is rural. Relate to the GHG inventory, the emission are accounted from sources located within the city borders; establishing its scope in accordance to the politic and administrative limit. These limits are established in the agreement 14 of 1991 – by the Bogota´s Council. The reporting period corresponds from January 1st to December 31st of 2016 (calendar year). For the GHG emissions accounting for the 2016 period it takes the IPCC 2006 methodology, in order to make the emissions categories and subcategories accounting of the energy module, industrial processes and products use, agriculture, forestry and other land uses, and waste emissions. The population by 2016 is 7.98 million people. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew about 2.2% in 2015. The unemployment rate is about 8.8% and the formal work rate (64.8%). | 24/06/2020 05:30:36 |
