The LED lighting upgrades included i) replacement of all existing florescent luminaires with energy efficient and durable LED luminaries and ii) installation of lighting controls which are able to switch electric lighting in response to changing daylight availability and fluctuating vehicle and pedestrian movement. The Topham St UPark installation has reduced annual Electricity consumption by 206,925 kWh; the Pirie St UPark has reduced annual electricity consumption by 352,627 kWh and the Wyatt St UPark has reduced annual Electricity consumption by 215,609 kWh. The lifetime of the actions is estimated to be 15 years, which results in an estimated emission reduction of 5,697tCO2e over the lifetime of the action (using a 2017 electricity emission factor).24/06/2020 05:28:18
