Una vez acondicionado, los residuos son enviados a las empresas que recuperan y/o reciclan los mismos. Mediante la recolección diferenciada se busca disminuir la cantidad de residuos que se transformarían en basura; al mismo tiempo que se recuperan materiales que permiten reciclarse y/o reutilizarse, evitando la utilización de materia prima virgen para la generación de bienes. En el caso de los residuos orgánicos, así como se disminuyen los volúmenes de residuos dispuestos y los tiempos de descomposición del material, se genera un material nuevo, el compost y lombricompuesto, que permite generar un fertilizante natural, el cual también podría ser utilizado en una futura etapa como cobertura de los residuos dispuestos. | 24/06/2020 05:30:36 | |||
