Sin embargo el Municipio de Río Grande viene llevando acciones tendientes a la reducción de emisiones. Sustitución de luminarias del alumbrado público por tecnología Led. Esta acción, al igual que las restantes que se mencionan en el punto 6.1, se viene realizando y tratando de implementar sin previo conocimiento del inventario de gases, por lo que consideramos que son acciones que sin haberlas cuantificado aportan una reducción.- Creación de Reservas Naturales Urbanas. se viene trabajando en la creaciòn de espacios de protección y conservación de ambientes naturales urbanos significativos. Contamos con 1 provincial, y dos municipales, y estamos trabajando para la creación de 2 más.
