El suministro de agua se realiza desde la quebrada la Tablona, punto de captación en la que se realizó una adecuación preliminar en las estructuras de desarenación ubicadas luego de la captación superficial y la instalación de un sistema provisional de agua potable en el sector de la quebrada La Tablona. Este sistema busca garantizar el suministro de agua segura libre de bacterias patógenas, metales tóxicos, o productos químicos dañinos para la salud. Es claro que la operación de este sistema no garantiza continuidad de 24 horas en la época de invierno, y el cumplimiento cabal con la resolución 2115 del 2007 con respecto a parámetros de Color y Turbiedad en el agua tratada. Como solución emergente se construyeron pozos profundos para abastecimiento con agua subterránea para el acueducto, dado que las condiciones de calidad y cantidad de las fuentes superficiales no permiten garantizar la continuidad en la prestación del servicio. Estos pozos se encuentran en operación, cuentan con plantas de potabilización operadas y controladas durante el bombeo de agua a la red de acueducto, sin embargo, se pueden considerar como soluciones parciales con el agravante de los altos costos de operación que demanda un sistema de estas características. Estos sistemas carecen de tanques elevados de almacenamiento para estandarizar presiones y por falta de redes eléctricas adecuadas no se tienen la suficiente oferta eléctrica que demandan para poder suministrar el máximo caudal24/06/2020 05:30:36
