Impulsando la producción agroecológica en las zonas rurales, que permita además del abastecimiento de productos saludables a la población de Mérida, ser una actividad económica atractiva para los pobladores de las zonas rurales, que mejore su alimentación e ingreso familiar; a través de mercados justos y solidarios, que disminuya migración a las ciudad y fortalezca sentido de permanencia.Metas:1. Contribuir a la disminución en desnutrición infantil y sobrepeso y obesidad adulta en poblaciones de zonas rurales.2. Incrementar oferta de productos alimenticios saludables: para autoconsumo y comercialización en mercados locales.3. Promover el cultivo de productos alimenticios bajo esquemas sustentables.4.
