Por ello se han implementado diversas metas e iniciativas para combatir la reducción de consumos de energía provenientes fuentes fósiles. Acciones que el Municipio de León ha impulsado para su financiamiento y que a su vez forman parte de las medidas de mitigación del Programa Municipal de Cambio Climático de León (PMCCL), con eso se logra beneficiar a la ciudadanía en general generando beneficios como mejor iluminación, seguridad pública y sobre todo la reducción de GEI provenientes de este sector. We are a Living Lab to enable companies to test-bed and demonstrate new urban solutions. Successful innovations can be deployed across Singapore, or exported to other cities facing similar challenges. Several living labs have been established within Singapore, such as NTU's EcoCampus, which is led by the Energy Research Institute @ NTU. The EcoCampus aims to transform NTU and the adjacent CleanTech Park into the greenest campus in the world, with ambitious targets to reduce energy, carbon, water, and waste intensity by 35% in 2020 from a 2011 baseline. Another example is the Renewable Energy Integration Demonstrator – Singapore, Southeast Asia’s first major microgrid testbed. It will test the integration of solar, wind, tidal-current, diesel, storage and power-to-gas technologies on Semakau Landfill, Singapore’s only landfill located on an offshore island.REIDS already has signed research collaborations with many of the world’s leading energy-related companies (Accenture, Alstom, Engie, REC Solar, VARTA and Vestas). Over the next 5 years, the total investments in the REIDS microgrid platform will be S$20 million. After the pilot phase, many companies are aiming to export their microgrids and energy management solutions to regional markets, especially SE Asia which has very strong unmet demand for new energy solutions.The Electric Vehicle Phase II Test-Bed will see the deployment of 1000 EVs across all HDB towns by 2020, via a car-sharing programme. The company, BlueSG, will operate the programme for 10 years and install 2000 charging points across the island. BlueSG will also host an open innovation platform. In 2016, Changi Airport Group announced the launch of the “Changi Airport Living Lab programme” which will see CAG collaborating with innovation driven companies and start-ups to develop and demonstrate new technology solutions in a live airport environment.
