The planned Duplex Park will serve as the location for the borefield and an underground energycentre. The proposed geo-exchange system operates with electricity as its input energy source. Switching from natural gas to electricity provides the single most significant means of reducing carbon emissions in building energy systems. This solution provides 2,000 Tons of cooling and 2,700 Tons of heating from ground source heat pumps. This significant fuel switch from naturalgas to electricity results in 790 tonnes-CO2e reduction annually from 2019 to 2023, and 3,100 tonnes-CO2e annually for 2023 onward. | 24/06/2020 05:30:36 | |||
