Service vehicles used in some public institutions until recently have been removed to encourage public transport, but unfortunately, this seems to have increased the use of private vehicles (the number of vehicles in institutions' car parks is increasing day by day). Public transport usage ratios should be increased with various applications. Although it is planned in the 2030 Transportation Master Plan to increase the share of public transportation from 25.1% to 26.7%, it is foreseen it can be increased to 30% with the measures to be taken. This will reduce the use of private cars. The withdrawal of a vehicle from traffic causes an emission reduction of about 2 tonnes CO2e annually.
