Project was complete with solar edge invertor technology – web based monitoring platform provided information on performance of each individual panel and also analysis current building energy use against generated energy. Phase 2 is currently on going which is involves analysis of current energy production of the PVs against current site electricity demand. From this data sizing of battery technology shall be accurately complete and installed so all generated energy is used on site. The impacts are significant, with increased stress on the agricultural sector, on the low-income communities, and also on the infrastructure of the city. The rain will be an issue, with the entire Midwest struggling to deal with intense rain showers and severe weather. Racine will be affected with water supply issues changing without accurate assessment as to how they will be affected. In the future, these groups will be hit by the impact of increased precipitation during the summer months, with inability to get adequate resources being the main issue for marginalized groups dealing with the intense heat of these months as well. The strain on the agricultural sector will be consistent as well, as the sector will deal with drought like conditions and the water supply being reduced and then flood like conditions in the same time frame. These conditions will also accelerate the erosion damage on infrastructure throughout the city, on such surfaces such as roads and bridges. Even though we are situated along lake Michigan, The National Climate Assessment, (NCA) lists water supply and these issues as the main concerns for the for the Midwest region and also more specifically for the city of Racine, Wisconsin.24/06/2020 05:30:36
