Due to construction and development, many trees need to be cut down, although efforts are being made to replace the trees, the climatic benefits will be lower.Irrigation:Climate change directly affects water availability for nature, due to the increase in heat and evaporation, the need for irrigation increases, while natural water sources decline. Type of vegetation affects water consumption, domestic fauna is more adapted to hot and arid climate, and is less affected by climate change. In recent years, Tel Aviv-Yafo, is making efforts to preserve and integrate local vegetation in public and private plots. However, already in the last decade, the municipality has had to add four months to the irrigation season. | 07/16/2021 01:47:15 | |||
