Não se trata de um documento onde metas ou objetivos sejam listados explicitamente, contudo nos seus estudos setoriais existem linhas de orientação quanto a diversas temáticas. Em relação à problemática dos objetivos associados a produção de energia a partir de fontes renováveis, no Estudo Setorial Energia do PDM, são estabelecidas as metas nacionais assumidas nessa altura bem como uma análise acerca das potencialidades das FER (Fontes energéticas renováveis), bem como o enquadramento do concelho nesse cenário do sector energético. Considerou-se importante fazer uma avaliação do potencial energético concelhio nas diferentes áreas com capacidade de produção de energia FER. Um dos projetos fundamentais é o aproveitamento da extensa rede hídrica para a criação de uma Rede de Mini-Hidrícas para produção de energia elétrica. A utilização deste tipo de tecnologia (solar térmica) é obrigatória nos novos edifícios, segundo a legislação17 para o sector dos edifícios. O Concelho de Águeda pode, a este nível, ter um papel relevante, dada a tradição existente na produção de materiais de construção no seu seio industrial. Aliadas, algumas empresas do Concelho ao projecto “Casa do Futuro”18 ou RIC Águeda19 poderá ser possível criar um conjunto de sinergias para o desenvolvimento de novos conceitos, levando à criação de novos materiais e novos mercados.No que diz respeito a produção de energia, esta é reduzida em Águeda, embora exista um potencial elevado para a produção de biomassa e biogás, podendo ser uma forma de complemento dos produtores, ou uma oportunidade de mercado para privados. Perante esta realidade, e face às metas a cumprir até 2010 neste sector, existem dois caminhos prioritários a traçar.A adesão ao Pacto de Autarcas levou à elaboração do PAES (SEAP), o qual data de 2011, evidencia a importância dada a esta temática a nível da Câmara Municipal. Diversas iniciativas para promover a produção de energias renováveis e poupança de recursos naturais foram desenvolvidos, desde o Lighting Living Lab, Sogeluz, implementação de unidades de produção de energia solar em edifícios do concelho, mudança para lâmpadas LED (na iluminação pública) entre outros, testemunham este compromisso.07/16/2021 01:47:15
