Para categorizar cada uno de los municipios en función de la probabilidad de ocurrencia de las amenazas, se ha utilizado la información del Atlas de Riesgos en cuanto a categorización de los peligros existentes para cada una de las amenazas en cada municipio.Para cada una de las amenazas, los grados de peligro según el Atlas de Riesgo han sido calculados según las siguientes variables:a) Grado de peligro por sequía: Se trata de una simplificación del mapa de “Clasificación de la sequía por municipio, en el que se ha reclasificado el mismo por el método Natural Break con 5 categorías (de muy bajo a muy alto). Para la elaboración de este mapa se tomó en cuenta el déficit de lluvia y la duración de esta (CENAPRED, 2018).b) Grado de peligro por inundaciones: para la elaboración de este mapa, se tomó en cuenta el Estudio de Inundaciones Fluviales y Mapas de Peligro de la Comisión Nacional del Agua (CONAGUA, 2013), en el que se determinaron las zonas susceptibles de inundación de cada una de las 37 regiones hidrológicas del país. En el mismo, CONAGUA, utilizó mapas de precipitación y el método de curva numérica, con lo que estableció un índice de inundación para la cantidad de escurrimiento según las características de las lluvias, la topografía, la edafología, la vegetación y el uso del suelo en las cuencas. Una vez hecho esto, se calculó para cada municipio el porcentaje de área inundable, y se clasificaron los valores de porcentaje del total de inicio con base en quintiles estadísticos. Con esta técnica se distribuyeron los municipios aproximadamente en un mismo número entre los cinco grados de peligro (desde Muy Alto a Muy Bajo) (CENAPRED, 2012).c) Grado de peligro por ola de calor: una ola de calor se define por un período de tres o más días cuando la temperatura excede cierto umbral, que para el caso de México es de 26ºC (CENAPRED, 2012). Para calcular el grado de peligro por olas de calor en los municipios de México se establecieron cuatro umbrales (desde bajo a muy alto), en función de intervalos de temperatura, considerando que un municipio tiene más peligro que otro si la ola de calor es de mayor temperatura.d) Grado de peligro por Deslizamientos: Para calcular el grado de susceptibilidad municipal por inestabilidad de laderas, se consideraron factores tales como la pendiente, la litología, y los usos del suelo. La suma aritmética y el peso de los diferentes factores para obtener el mapa de susceptibilidad se basaron en el estudio individual de algunos casos estudiados por el CENAPRED, al cual se les aplicó el formato para evaluación de laderas de la “Guía Básica para la elaboración de Atlas Estatales y Municipales de Peligros y Riesgos” (CENAPRED, 2015). | 07/16/2021 01:47:15 | ||

When using the inventory data for aggregation, comparison and trend analysis, please note that the inventory data is based on non-verified self-reported city inputs. The reported inventory may not include all emission sources within the city boundary.
Please note that this dataset may contain data from cities or, in some instances, groups of cities at different administrative levels. This includes metropolitan areas, combined authorities, and 5 American regional councils, which are: Chicago Metropolitan Mayors Caucus; Denver Regional Council of Governments; Metropolitan Council, Twin Cities; Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments; and Mid-America Regional Council.
