Também internamente o município nas suas instalações tem adotado mecanismos de poupança de água como lolocação de torneiras de mola e implementou um projeto nos serviços dos espaços verdes de ecojardins. Este projeto tem por base um sistema de rega de gota a gota e utilização de plantas que necessitam de pouca água.
