O Concelho de Águeda pode, a este nível, ter um papel relevante, dada a tradição existente na produção de materiais de construção no seu seio industrial. Aliadas, algumas empresas do Concelho ao projecto “Casa do Futuro”18 ou RIC Águeda19 poderá ser possível criar um conjunto de sinergias para o desenvolvimento de novos conceitos, levando à criação de novos materiais e novos mercados.No que diz respeito a produção de energia, esta é reduzida em Águeda, embora exista um potencial elevado para a produção de biomassa e biogás, podendo ser uma forma de complemento dos produtores, ou uma oportunidade de mercado para privados. Perante esta realidade, e face às metas a cumprir até 2010 neste sector, existem dois caminhos prioritários a traçar.A adesão ao Pacto de Autarcas levou à elaboração do PAES (SEAP), o qual data de 2011, evidencia a importância dada a esta temática a nível da Câmara Municipal. Please note that this dataset may contain data from cities or, in some instances, groups of cities at different administrative levels. This includes metropolitan areas, combined authorities, and 5 American regional councils, which are: Chicago Metropolitan Mayors Caucus; Denver Regional Council of Governments; Metropolitan Council, Twin Cities; Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments; and Mid-America Regional Council.
