Assim, e neste âmbito, a remoção de AIS da flora aquática é um programa que desde há mais de 15 anos está a ser desenvolvido no concelho (remoção de toneladas de jacinto de água (Eicchornia crassipes) e erva-pinheirinha (Myriophyllum aquaticum) na lagoa da Pateira de Fermentelos e linhas de água afetadas por estas espécies. Mais recentemente foi iniciada a intervenção para restauro dos habitats ripícolas com remoção de AIS terrestres (e.g. Acacia ssp., Ailanthus altissima, Robinia pseudoacacia, Arundo donax, entre outros), e reflorestação com recurso a espécies nativas. Ainda neste sentido, e para permitir a visitação de zonas húmidas pelos numerosos visitantes e turistas que anualmente percorrem as margens de rios e da lagoa, está projetada a colocação de passadiços (construidos em material adequado para o local de implementação, com integração paisagística). Este projeto visa permitir a realização de um percurso circular e inclusivo à volta da Lagoa da Pateira de Fermentelos a pé ou de bicicleta, adaptado para a sua realização por pessoas em cadeira de rodas. Este projeto está parcialmente financiado, contudo a sua execução beneficiaria em termos de celeridade de implementação no caso de existir fundos extra-municipais como complemento ao disponibilizado pela autarquia. De referir que parcialmente já está implementado, e que um troço já conta com financiamento, estando em vias de implementação.07/16/2021 01:47:15
