Congreso del Estado de Jalisco, mismo que se reformó el 10 de agosto de 2015, con la expedición del Decreto No. 25400. En éste, se aprueba la declaratoria del Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara, integrada por los municipios de Guadalajara, Zapopan, San Pedro Tlaquepaque, Tonalá, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, El Salto, Juanacatlán, Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos y Zapotlanejo.El AMG se encuentra ubicada en el occidente de México y forma parte de la Región Centro del estado de Jalisco. Tiene sus límites al norte, con los municipios de San Cristóbal de la Barranca, Ixtlahuacán del Río y Cuquío; al oriente, con Acatic, Tepatitlán de Morelos, Tototlán y Zapotlán del Rey; al sur, con Poncitlán, Chapala, Jocotepec y Acatlán de Juárez; y al poniente, con Tala, El Arenal, Amatitán y Tequila.El Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara es el segundo núcleo urbano más poblado de México, con alrededor de 4,865,122 millones de habitantes (2015, INEGI), y concentra el 61% de la población del estado de Jalisco. EL AMG tiene una densidad promedio de 14 habitantes por hectárea; Guadalajara es el municipio de mayor densidad poblacional con 106 habitantes por hectárea de superficie urbana (hab./ha), seguido por Tonalá y San Pedro Tlaquepaque, ambos, con 70 hab./ha, cuya densidad es relativamente alta debido a que el área urbana concentra la mayor cantidad de población. Sin embargo, al realizar el análisis por la superficie total de municipio, la densidad de El Salto es de 15 hab./ha y la de Tonalá es de 30 hab./ha.El AMG tiene 326,546 ha totales de territorio, de las cuales el 78% (254,083 ha) se encuentra sin urbanizar y el 22% (72,463 ha) restante se encuentra urbanizado.-40% del territorio es de uso agrícola- 15% del territorio es bosque -70% del AMG depende del agua proveniente del Lago de Chapala-89% tiene acceso a transporte público cercano- 22% de la superficie del AMG esta urbanizado- 20 comunidades urbana La mayor parte de la región tiene clima templado subhúmedo (89.2%). La temperatura media anual es de 20.3°C, mientras que sus máximas y mínimas promedio oscilan entre 31.3°C y 8.5°C respectivamente. La precipitación media anual es de 952 mm. El área metropolitana de Guadalajara cuenta actualmente, con muy pocos focos de vegetación nativa y árboles individuales originales de la región, como el bosque de pino-encino, bosque tropical caducifolio, bosque espinoso, vegetación acuática y subacuática conforme a la clasificación de Rzedowski. This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains the full responses of publicly disclosing cities in 2020. To view the complete cities 2020 questionnaire guidance, including all questions asked in 2020, visit https://www.cdp.net/en/guidance/guidance-for-cities. Please contact cities@cdp.net if you have any questions.
When using the inventory data for aggregation, comparison and trend analysis, please note that the inventory data is based on non-verified self-reported city inputs. The reported inventory may not include all emission sources within the city boundary.
Please note that this dataset may contain data from cities or, in some instances, groups of cities at different administrative levels. This includes metropolitan areas, combined authorities, and 5 American regional councils, which are: Chicago Metropolitan Mayors Caucus; Denver Regional Council of Governments; Metropolitan Council, Twin Cities; Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments; and Mid-America Regional Council.
