Destaca-se a importância da participação e apoio da Prefeitura da Cidade do Recife, em especial da Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e Sustentabilidade (SMAS), do Instituto da Cidade Pelópidas Silveira (ICPS) e da Defesa Civil. Neste contexto, a elaboração dos índices a partir da modelagem climática relacionada às principais ameaças presentes no cotidiano dos recifenses, possibilitou oferecer uma resposta às demandas de políticas públicas de onde e como intervir com medidas adaptativas.
