La población de la comuna de Temuco corresponde a 282.415 habitantes según el Censo 2017, lo que implica un crecimiento de 37.068 personas (15,1%) en los últimos 15 años, lo que ubica a la comuna en el décimo lugar de las comunas con mayor población del país. Un 93% de la población está concentrada en el sector urbano y un 6,8% en el sector rural. De la distribución por género, el 47,6% corresponde a hombres y el 52,3% a mujeres (Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas, 2017).A la vez, Temuco es la novena comuna a nivel nacional con mayor cantidad de viviendas, registrando al 2017 un total de 104.759, de las cuales 87.730 corresponden a casas y 14.390 a departamentos en edificios.De las actividades económicas de la comuna, un 72% corresponde al sector terciario (servicios), un 20% al sector secundario, destacando la construcción, y solo un 7% al sector primario. This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains the full responses of publicly disclosing cities in 2020. To view the complete cities 2020 questionnaire guidance, including all questions asked in 2020, visit https://www.cdp.net/en/guidance/guidance-for-cities. Please contact cities@cdp.net if you have any questions.
When using the inventory data for aggregation, comparison and trend analysis, please note that the inventory data is based on non-verified self-reported city inputs. The reported inventory may not include all emission sources within the city boundary.
Please note that this dataset may contain data from cities or, in some instances, groups of cities at different administrative levels. This includes metropolitan areas, combined authorities, and 5 American regional councils, which are: Chicago Metropolitan Mayors Caucus; Denver Regional Council of Governments; Metropolitan Council, Twin Cities; Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments; and Mid-America Regional Council.
