A iniciativa tem como diretriz a elaboração de inventário de emissão de GEE, análise de risco e vulnerabilidade climática, definição de meta de redução de emissões e elaboração de plano de adaptação e mitigação climático. No momento, a cidade está trabalhando para, primeiramente, atualizar seu inventário de emissões como um dos produtos da revisão do Plano Diretor. Em paralelo, a equipe de planejamento urbano está reunindo todos os dados disponíveis na administração, contratando outros e identificando as informações já existentes e em elaboração, bem como as metodologias disponíveis (visto que não há uma metodologia padronizada para elaboração de relatórios de risco e vulnerabilidades), para que não haja sobreposição de contratações ou dados. Com este levantamento finalizado, dará andamento à elaboração de sua análise de risco e vulnerabilidade climática. Após estas etapas, a cidade vai trabalhar em seu plano de ações e definirá, de forma participativa, suas metas de redução de emissões, incluindo as metas de implementação de energia e/ou eletricidade renovável. Cabe destacar que, conforme informado na área “Oportunidades” deste report, a prefeitura tem o projeto Luz do Saber, para tornar a rede pública municipal de ensino mais eficiente energeticamente, bem como outros prédios da administração. When using the inventory data for aggregation, comparison and trend analysis, please note that the inventory data is based on non-verified self-reported city inputs. The reported inventory may not include all emission sources within the city boundary.
