Different categories have been identified ranging from the world of school to that of professional orders, from associations to local institutional representatives, from categories to service providers, from industry to public utility services, identifying more than 150 contacts. During 2020, about 20 face-to-face or online meetings were organized with local institutional representatives to listen to their opinions and propose useful solutions to tackle the climate crisis with sustainable proposals. Both the actions already underway and any future proposals were discussed, which formed the backbone of the actions envisaged by this plan.The process of involving stakeholders in the definition of the Venice City Climate Action Plan aimed at reducing emissions that persist in the municipal area and identifying climate vulnerabilities began right from the drafting stage of the Action Plan for Sustainable Energy (PAES). After joining the Covenant of Mayors in 2011 which involved the drafting and approval of a Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) in 2012, the concrete measures were defined through which to achieve the pre-established objectives (reduction of CO2 emissions of 20% by 2020). This process has given the Municipality of Venice the possibility of obtaining an important amount of information useful for the construction and monitoring of its energy and emission balance, as well as for the construction and monitoring of a series of municipal and private actions reported in the internal document of this Plan document.In particular, the cooperation between the Municipality and the stakeholders operating within the territory is organized and divided into three categories of actors: Internal stakeholders; External stakeholders; Data providersAdditional info are reported in par. 1.4 of the Plan attached07/16/2021 01:47:15
