This project will make it possible to locally reduce the emissions resulting from the stationing in the port of ships, through direct connection (via the quay) to the national energy network. The development of the project envisages carrying out technical, financial, legal and environmental studies on the supply of electricity to the quay through cold ironing. The project will enable the transition to alternative fuels for the shipping system and will support electrification by ensuring port-to-ship compatibility. The work, therefore, will be carried out with a view to strategic port development and to ensure the centrality of the port in terms of trade goods by ship nationally and internationally. The estimated savings of emissions located within the municipality is equal to 40% of emissions in 2018, or 63,826.8tCO2EQ / year by 2030.
