For example, a new Cogeneration Facility has been built with four new, more efficient, engine generators. These upgrades build on ongoing work by the RWF Operations and Maintenance team to improve energy efficiency throughout the facility. For example, more efficient fine bubble diffusers were installed in the RWF aeration tanks and the amount of air used for aeration in the mixed liquor channels was reduced, both of which significantly reduce energy demands for the aeration process. In addition, the RWF has installed LED streetlights throughout its 170-acre campus, and a Ring Bus that allows the RWF to isolate electrical issues to one location while power continues to be distributed throughout the facility without interruption. The RWF continues to evaluate additional energy conservation measures and new technologies to sustainably power the Facility operations into the future.01/20/2022 02:27:05

This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains a subset of the related full cities dataset, covering GHG emissions inventory and mitigation action questions for publicly disclosing cities in 2021. The platform is still open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
