A 500 km al Norte de la ciudad de Rosario y a 800 de Capital Federal.Avellaneda cuenta con una población de 30.446 habitantes en 2019. Del total, aproximadamente el 89,1% habita en el núcleo urbano y el 10,9% en siete pequeños parajes que se distribuyen en la zona rural: La Vertiente, Avellaneda Oeste, El Carmen, Moussy, Santa Ana, El Timbó y La Colmena. La ciudad linda con Reconquista, que cuenta con una población 85.000 habitantes y conforman el Área Metropolitana, con una interacción socioeconómica permanente.El distrito Avellaneda forma parte de la región fitogeográfica denominada Parque Chaqueño Oriental. El clima en esta región está caracterizado como subtropical húmedo con promedio de precipitación anual de 1.250 milímetros, con gran variabilidad en la distribución de las precipitaciones entre años. En los últimos diez años se muestra una importante disminución de los regímenes pluviométricos, que genera fuertes repercusiones en la producción agropecuaria y agroindustrial, base de la economía zonal.Las temperaturas medias anuales son de 20.5ºC, la media del mes más frío (julio) es de 14ºC, y la del mes más cálido (enero) de 27 grados con una máxima media de 34ºC, y una mínima media de 20ºC. En cuanto a las temperaturas extremas absolutas, se han registrado días de invierno con temperaturas de -3ºC, grandes heladas y sin viento, y veranos con marcas de 43ºC, con sensaciones térmicas de hasta 48ºC.El distrito Avellaneda posee una superficie 937 km2, la mancha urbana comprende alrededor de 7,6 km2 y el resto de la superficie lo constituye la zona rural, de la cual el 65% corresponde al valle del Río Paraná. En él se emplazan arroyos y sector de humedales denominado “Jaaukanigás” en lengua Guaraní (Gente del Agua), posee gran diversidad biológica, tanto de fauna animal como vegetal, y es un sitio Ramsar de cuidado internacional. Es uno de los lugares elegidos para realizar actividad recreativa de tiempo libre por lugareños y turistas: practica de pesca deportiva, navegación, avistamientos, fotografía, trekking, etc. El turismo rural y natural tiene un impacto cada vez mayor por las políticas implementadas por el gobierno local.Basa su economía en la producción primaria: girasol, soja, algodón, trigo, maíz, sorgo, producciones intensivas bovinas, porcinas y aviar. La industria dependiente de esta actividad primaria se desarrolla predominantemente en las cadenas productivas, con agregado de valor en origen, en la producción de derivados de los granos, oleaginosas, bovinos, porcinos, aviar, etc. Refinerías de aceites vegetales y bioetanol. Posee la cadena completa del algodón: desmontado, fábrica de algodón hidrófilo, telas e indumentaria. Un importante desarrollo de la industria metalmecánica, ligada al agro y la industria.Adquieren notable relevancia las múltiples actividades del sector secundario, por importante número de agroindustrias, las cuales constantemente requieren de mano de obra calificada. En el sector abocado a los servicios y al desarrollo tecnológico, se encuentra en pleno auge a nivel local, lo cual lo transforma en un sector dinamizador en términos de ocupación de mano de obra. Cuenta con importantes empresas que exportan sus productos a todo el mundo.Avellaneda cuenta con 100 hectáreas de Parque Industrial y de Servicios de carácter municipal con más de 70 pymes radicadas, un Centro de Servicios a Emprededores con dos naves de incubación.01/20/2022 02:27:05
