Os gêneros são ofertados de acordo com as necessidades nutricionais de cada etapa e o período de permanência na escola. Para muitas crianças em situação de vulnerabilidades a refeição feita na escola é a principal do seu dia. São priorizados gêneros in natura ou minimamente processados. As refeições são elaboradas dentro das próprias escolas por equipes capacitadas. O acompanhamento técnico é realizado por uma equipe de 11 nutricionistas, além de técnicos e estagiários. Cabe destacar que a prefeitura também possui programas sociais, como os restaurantes populares que servem, de segunda-feira a sexta-feira, 700 refeições diárias gratuitas para pessoas em vulnerabilidade social, mas não hpa dados sobre toneladas de alimentos. Os quatro restaurantes (Prato Alegre) são geridos por Organização Social Civil e ficam localizados no Centro Histórico e em bairros carentes: Lomba do Pinheiro, Vila Cruzeiro e Restinga Velha. Além disso, a Fundação de Assistência Social e Cidadania (Fasc) distribui cestas básicas para carentes nos Centros de Referência de Assistência Social (Cras). Do início da pandemia até o final de o final de agosto foram entregues cerca de 45 mil cestas básicas para famílias vulneráveis que estão no Cadastro Único, na faixa de renda de até R$ 89,00 por pessoa e não recebem Bolsa-Família ou outros benefícios. São cerca de 18.700 famílias nessa faixa de renda beneficiadas. A distribuição de cestas básicas para este público é uma política púbica do municipio.01/20/2022 02:27:05

This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains the full responses of publicly disclosing cities in 2021. The platform is still open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
