The food waste is so clean that the biofertilizer as generated during biological treatment can be used in field or woodland. - Littering in the public environment has been halved compared with 2020. - At least 90 percent of the municipality's residents experience that littering in the public environment has decreased compared to 2020.- The amount of unsorted rubbish collected from public environment is halved compared to 2023.NOTE: Targets relating to waste management derives from Vallentuna municipality's Waste Disposal Plan, which was adopted by the municipal assembly in october 2020. The Waste Management Plan has sixteen main goals aiming at year 2032, described here, and also a number of interim targets to be revised every three years.
