Es así como en términos de saneamiento un 4,1% de las viviendas de la comuna se encuentran en un nivel deficitario, mientras que en la Región solo el 2,5% está en ese nivel. En cuanto a la calidad global de la vivienda, el 13,4% de las viviendas de Cerro Navia no se encuentran con una evaluación aceptable, incluso un 1,3% se encuentra en una condición irrecuperable, lo cual está por sobre el nivel regional donde el 9,4% de las viviendas no se encuentran aceptables y solo el 0,8% como irrecuperable. Referido al allegamiento en las viviendas, un 15,2% de las viviendas de la comuna se encuentran con allegamiento externo y un 36% con allegamiento interno, mientras que los promedios regionales son de un 10,5% y 27,7% respectivamente.Finalmente, en cuanto a las condiciones de hacinamiento, la comuna presenta un 6,4% de hacinamiento medio bajo, un 4% de hacinamiento medio alto y un 1,1% en situación crítica.
