The programme of training and providing employment opportunities has continued annually and is now a central focus of the environmental management department. The programme size varies according to council funding and the availability of grant funding but is consistently supported by one full time Administrator and a full time Project manager. The areas are prioritized based on the following:•Critical biodiversity Area (as per the Biodiversity spatial plan for the province)•Fire Risk•streamflow returns The NRM team also focus on plant relocation and rehabilitation.01/20/2022 02:27:05
