This study documented recent and current state of environmental factors in the region, and identified trends and forecasts that will affect the region. These factors included temperature, precipitation, sea level rise, flood risk from storms, Chesapeake Bay warming, heat island impacts, and the effect of storms on the power grid. The study further outlined key vulnerabilities by sector, such as Transportation, Land Use and Buildings, Water, and cross-sectional impacts such as health due to extreme heat, vector-borne disease, flooding, etc..Last, the report outlined potential adaptation strategies for each of these sectors and vulnerabilities, with indicators of whether each adaptation measure also contributed to reducing GHG emissions, whether each measure was a 'no regrets' approach (in the sense of worthwhile if climate change did not occur), and a gross indicator of the potential cost of each adaptation measure. | 01/20/2022 02:27:05 | ||

Please note that this dataset may contain data from cities or, in some instances, groups of cities at different administrative levels. This includes metropolitan areas, combined authorities, and some regional councils.
When using the inventory data for aggregation, comparison and trend analysis, please note that the inventory data is based on non-verified self-reported city inputs. The reported inventory may not include all emission sources within the city boundary.
