Updated GHG inventory was prepared and all mitigation actions was renewed according to new mitigation targets. İzmir Sustainable Energy and Energy Action Plan (SECAP) was approved and entered into force with the decision of the municipal council dated 16/12/2020 and numbered 1136. IMM has undertaken many efforts to prevent and improve pollution such as water, air, noise, gulf and solid waste by undertaking to raise the quality of life of its citizens and IMM has designated "environmental management" as a prior agenda topic for a cleaner and more peaceful city by increasing the efficiency of these studies.İzmir Metropolitan Municipality is part of 1,000+ cities to join the Cities Race to Zero around the world in a pledge to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. | 01/20/2022 02:27:05 |

This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains a subset of the related full cities dataset, covering Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Action questions for publicly disclosing cities in 2021. The platform is still open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
