Governance and Data ManagementGovernance1.7Please provide information specifically on the impact of the COVID-19 economic response on climate action in your city and synergies between COVID-19 recovery interventions and climate action.3Explanation1ResponseThe national New Deal plan was largely established in the fields of the digital new deal and the green new deal. Various businesses based on the digital industry contribute to increasing the resilience of cities based on efficient systems. The Green New Deal includes a wide range of projects to respond to climate change, such as green remodeling, green mobility, water circulation and green space expansion. The local government's finances are in a poor overall situation due to the economic downturn caused by COVID-19 and disaster support. However, due to the New Deal project, the national fiscal input is expanding, and accordingly, the fiscal input according to the expansion of the local government's business in the relevant field is also expanding. In Suwon, investment for eco-friendly transportation means such as electric and hydrogen vehicles and the expansion of charging infrastructure is increasing.01/20/2022 02:27:05
