Se realizó la actualización del Plan de Acción Climático Municipal PACMUN. Para cumplir con estas medidas, es indispensable la sinergia y coordinación entre los diferentes niveles de gobierno, realizar el inventario o diagnóstico de Gases de Efecto Invernadero (GEI), identificar las principales fuentes de GEI en la ciudad y generar un (PACMUN) El desarrollo del PACMUN da cabida a la participación de varios actores relevantes logrando como uno de los objetivos finales obtener diferentes puntos de vista y propuestas de políticas públicas. Mérida, comprometida con la agenda ambiental nacional e internacional, presenta el actual PACMUN, el cual es producto del resultado del Diagnóstico de GEI de la presente administración, del análisis del PACMUN del año 2017, y de las propuestas entre los diferentes actores que participaron en la elaboración. En el documento se identificaron cuatro grandes sectores a mitigar (energía, transporte, forestal y residuos sólidos), y como parte de los resultados se reporta: La evaluación del cumplimiento de las acciones propuestas en el PACMUN, problemáticas ambientales, identificación de nuevas acciones para lograr la meta voluntaria de la reducción de GEI, fortalecer capacidades municipales para la implementación del PACMUN de manera transversal para una adecuada toma de decisiones en el municipio. Con respecto a la adaptación, se identificó por medio del Atlas de Riesgo de la ciudad de Mérida, que las principales amenazas hidrometeorológicas que enfrenta el municipio cada año son ciclones tropicales, lluvias torrenciales y sequías, inundaciones; también se consideran los incendios forestales que resaltan la vulnerabilidad ocasionada por las ondas de calor comunes en la región. De igual manera existen otro tipo de amenazas que afectan directa o indirectamente a sectores como el turístico, ambiental, urbano, comunicaciones y transportes, y salud. Particularmente entre el año 2020 y 2021, el sector salud tomó mucha relevancia debido a la problemática de la pandemia y se generaron medidas relacionadas con este sector y la sustentabilidad. Description
This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains a subset of the related full cities dataset, covering Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Action questions for publicly disclosing cities in 2021. The platform is still open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
