Existen zonas vulnerables a inundaciones al pie de la sierra y en zonas bajas, sobre todo en áreas influidas por microcuencas de alta pendiente y menor tamaño que permiten que las corrientes de los arroyos adquieran rápidamente avenidas extremas. Asimismo, se busca que las cuencas asociadas a los cauces del municipio cumplan con su función de regulación hidrológica a través de su conectividad estructural. Esta conectividad hace referencia a la conexión que se establece entre los elementos de una cuenca, como los patrones espaciales en el paisaje, la distribución de las unidades ambientales que influyen en la transferencia del agua y en las trayectorias de flujo; así como sus interacciones para generar escorrentía y conexión entre flujos. El estado en el que se encuentre una cuenca determinará su capacidad hidrológica, por lo que es necesario realizar actividades que ayuden a recuperar el régimen hidrológico natural, por ejemplo a través de la limpieza de cauces, mantenimiento de masa forestal, entre otros. | 01/20/2022 02:27:05 | |||

This data is collected through the CDP-ICLEI Unified Reporting System. When using this data, please cite both organisations using the following wording: ‘This data was collected in partnership by CDP and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability’.
This dataset contains a subset of the related full cities dataset, covering Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Action questions for publicly disclosing cities in 2021. The platform is still open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
