The degree of these issues depends on the political will, commitment and willingness by local leaders in upholding the approved land use and development objectives obtaining in their respective jurisdiction, includes:-Training of the LGU staff as prerequisite for successful land use planning, execution and/or implementation;-Development and implementation based on objective criteria and aligned with people’s need; not on the interest of leaders and landowners; -Land use plan and development alignment in consideration that mismatch (actual use is inconsistent land use plan) is a consequence of different and overlapping mandates; -Incomplete and outdated cadastral information and shortcoming in sectoral information exchange inhibit the steps necessary to solve the pressing issue of insecure tenure rights; and-Cooperation of agencies is currently partial and not yet systematic, which hampers consistent alignment of plan and integration efforts.01/14/2022 02:32:38

This dataset contains a subset of the related full cities dataset, covering Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Action questions for publicly disclosing cities in 2021. The platform is still open and the dataset is updated daily to reflect new submissions.
