The use of SPAH has been gazetted in 6 states; Selangor, Melaka, Johor, Perlis, Perak and Kelantan. Consequently, the Melaka Historic City Council (MBMB) implemented the SPAH system in 2009 whereby consultant architects are required to adhere to the above mentioned UBBL regulations when implementing SPAH and Green Building.
