We currently estimate approximately 2.4 MWh of energy is being generated at an emissions savings of 2tCO2. Council's 99kW system powers 25% of the Administration Building, while other systems such as the 150kW and 99kW systems are used directly by Councils sewage treatment plants onsite. Council is also looking into a 5MW solar farm which would offset Council's entire electricity usage and feed additional power back into the grid.
