The City issued Executive Order No. 661, an executive order creating the Zamboanga City Water Security Council. In addition, amidst the current health crisis and in order to sustain the source of water requirements, had completed the Watershed Rehabilitation/ Reforestation Project within the Pasonanca Watershed Area; where indigenous tree species seedlings were planted. The reforestation of open/denuded forestlands includes the 6 watersheds. This include the regular maintenance by way of dredging and desiltation of major river system. In addition, expected target of 100 thousand trees will attain before the year-end.
