City-wide EmissionsCity-wide GHG Emissions Data4.5Please attach your city-wide inventory in Excel or other spreadsheet format and provide additional details on the inventory calculation methods in the table below.9Comment on level of confidence1The City of Adelaide has prepared community GHG emissions inventory in accordance with the Global Protocol for Community-Scale Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventories (GPC). The Carbon Neutral Adelaide Action Plan 2016-2021 Appendix 1 notes that ‘As reporting processes and data improves it is anticipated that from time to time total emissions will fluctuate based upon our understanding of emissions included. When such changes occur back casting of emissions to our base year of 2007 will be undertaken and published’. The CoA community GHG emissions for FY2006/07 (base year), FY2013/14 and FY2014/15, reported in the Carbon Neutral Adelaide Action Plan 2016-2021, have been updated to ensure consistency with the latest calculation methodologies. Restated GHG emission inventories are reported in Question 4.13. Aviation is a required emission source under the GPC; therefore it is being back-casted for all CoA community GHG inventories since FY2006/07. Product use from the IPPU sector is also being back-casted since FY2006/07 using latest calculation methodology.01/19/2022 02:30:06
